fully implement the provisions in the Venezuela Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society Act of 2014 (P.L. 113-278)

Created by J.A. on March 02, 2015

On 12/18/2014 Venezuela Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society Act of 2014 (P.L. 113-278) was signed by President Obama. However, despite the increased violation of human rights and continued use of lethal force against peaceful protest, the administration has not utilized the power granted by congress to promote the stability and defense of human rights in Venezuela and the western hemisphere.

In name of the people of Venezuela and those that believe in the unalienable duty to protect human rights, I ask the administration for immediate action to prevent the impunity of the Venezuelan officials.
