March 2013 is the tenth anniversary of the United States entering into Operation Iraqi Liberation which quickly was changed to Operation Iraqi Freedom. During this time the United States tortured detainees in violation of international law as well as the UCMJ, treaties we are parties to, and our Federal law. We wiretapped in violation of Supreme Court precedent as well as the US Bill of Rights. We have no accounting of this war in part to the DoD embedding of journalists in violation of the First Amendment. There are no Pentagon Papers as there were in the Vietnam Conflict. This has caused much division in the body politic as well as the nation as a whole. We need prosecutions of the violations of the laws of war, the US Constitution, and Supreme Court precedent. We are a nation of laws.
