although the supreme court has made some progress against DOMA, a statute designed to discriminate against gay people, they did not do enough. a section of it remains that violates the full faith and credit clause of the constitution by permitting states that do not recognize same sex marriage to not recognize same sex marriages from other states. in addition, it violates the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment by not giving the same tax codes to gay people. so in the name of justice, sign this to bring congress to repeal it.
