Minimum wage cannot fix our economy.
In 1986 then President G.H.W. Bush(R) began NAFTA at the end of his term with final passage lying with Pres B. Clinton(D), which would eventually lead to the loss of American jobs and the downfall of our economy by allowing U.S. and foreign corporations to move their production out of the U.S.(the largest consumer nation in the world) into cheaper labor markets and import goods back into the U.S. with no tariffs. These imported goods with no tariffs cost less but cut out American jobs. The immediate repeal of NAFTA and imposed tariffs would force Corporations to reopen American factories for production to sell goods in the U.S. thereby enabling a true economic boom to our Country.
This is the ONLY viable route to economic recovery.
