Gold and other precious metals are true assets that increase in value. Restoring our legal tender to a standard backed by real value will restore our nation’s wealth and lower our national debt as we will have one large asset base to use as collateral to reduce our interest rates on our national debt. This will increase the spending value of our legal tender because each US dollar has a literal value matching to an amount of a real asset. It will also reduce the impact of inflation.
Remove and replace "In God We Trust". Our Legal tender is currently unlawful and violates the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
