to fully support and promote extending poll days including a national holiday for voting.

We are forced to listen to months of rhetoric at the cost of hundreds of millions of dollars as politicians make their point. The American people should be given equal consideration when it comes to casting their vote. There are few things as patriotic as casting a vote. Hard-working Americans should be given a week of open polls to allow them to not have to choose between caring for their family, making a living or any number of things that are required of living and being able to take part in the electoral process. Off-set the cost by requiring politicians to contribute a flat percentage based on their spend to go into a fund for the next election cycle. It is at the convenience of the people that an elected official serves.
