Funds aids care and research, with 100 million dollars a yr for ten yrs. This research will get us to the cure for hiv/AIDS. The other goal is to identify the 250,000 people who have hiv and do not know it. All adults should be tested. All positive people need to be in care. Public ads should, promote safer sex. All schools should have frank hiv/AIDS education. If we do not find the hidden pool of infected people, the future cost of care and meds, will swamp the health care budget. Each person who gets infected will use over a million extra health care dollars in their lifetime. The lifetime risk of hiv to gay men and gay men of color, is getting near 100% lifetime risk. This lack of funding, becomes a form of gay genocide. We would not accept this risk for most social groups.
