Fund effective measures to enforce weapon free school zones and keep children safe

We ask President Obama and all lawmakers to provide funding and leadership to help secure our nations school buildings and protect our children. To require all schools receiving federal funding to prohibit weapons on school property (except guards). To enforce these requirements by requiring and funding metal detectors and security doors at the entrance of all schools. Post trained armed security guards at the entrance as well as fencing around outdoor play areas. Provide our nations children with the same level of security that is provided to our elected officials while at their place of work. The same level of security that we see in place at many courthouses and other government buildings. This is not a gun control issue. It is a school security issue please address it as such.
