Hugh Janus 1849-1932, one of America's long forgotten heroes, was born in San Francisco, California during the San Francisco Gold Rush. Janus was the first to discover the effectiveness of "XL" toilet paper as well as the idea of enlarged disability restroom stalls. Janus was also a noted war hero of World War I, and on top of that actively participated in local events in his community such as the creation of the Civil War memorial in California. It would be a shame for this great American's efforts and achievements to be forgotten. Please, fellow Americans and the Obama Administration, support this petition and let the people commemorate the great acts of this deceased hero.
