The US is behind other countries that already have free higher education systems.. With a free college/ university funding in other countries it has proven to not only create equality for all citizens but also lower crime rate. It can be done without raising taxes, seems how the government already spends almost $60 billion in grants and tax benefits. Al well as another $100 billion on loans.
