Fund Higher education

Created by K.M. on April 11, 2013

Education is paid for up through high school, but why should it stop there? College education is expensive. It costs on average $15,000 per year for a public college education and $40,000 for a private one. This petition's purpose is to try and attain some form of federal funding for college that is available to everyone, whether it be in the form of a grant to pay the in-state tuition for a state college or a free federal college.

We pay 40,000 per person per year on prisoners, so why can't we spend a little over a third of that on education? If you agree, sign and share it with anyone who is paying or has had to pay for college. If only 1% of US college students signs this it will be enough for a response from the white house. Spread the word.
