In light of the Newtown, CT school massacre it's easy to start a conversation about "Gun Control" soon we forget about the heartache and while we're talking, tragedy strikes again. Lets stop talking, lets ACT!
Implement a mandate to put Alarm Systems in schools and universities throughout the country. We have silent alarms in banks protecting our money don't our children deserve even better?
Receptionists could have a button under their desks, principles in their offices and teachers in their class rooms. We could even instal alarms which trigger when a gun is fired. Police would be alerted and an alarm could warn teachers and students to implement Lock-Down who might not otherwise know about an intruder.
I'm not purposing this will prevent murders, but perhaps it will save lives.
