fund mentoring programs that are proven effective, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, instead of wasteful gov't agencies.

Created by D.B. on October 20, 2011

Instead of funding wasteful agencies full of impersonal bureaucrats to deal with at-risk youth, congress should fund mentoring programs that are proven to be effective. Big Brothers Big Sisters has been proven to be effective in improving the lives of at-risk American children and has been proven to provide taxpayers with a positive return on their investment. With an increase in funding, these programs will dramatically increase their impact. The scope of our national government can be slightly reduced, and children will be treated with tenderness instead of as a name on a piece of paper.
