A student who applies for Financial Aid is determined by their Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
Students who are earn low-income are provided with Federal grants such as the Pell Grant, But students whose (EFC) is "too-high" are subject to unsubsidized loans at interest rates that are $1.75 per day.
All we are asking is more financial assistance for students in the middle-class who want an education but cannot achieve it because of financial reasons that do not allow them to go. This economy works better when the people receive an education that is not narrow-minded for a cooperate necessity. Rather for students achieve their goal in a career where they can benefit from their education through higher aid disbursed.
