Fund more programs regarding mental health

The need for mental health service is increasing as time passes by. In 2013, schools were the main targets when it came to massacres. The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter was mentally ill and given the proper treatment the suspect may or may have not of done such gruesome act of violence. Even though citizens believe guns are the main issue they are disregarding the fact that shooters may or may not be mentally stable when handling a gun. Sandy Hook is a reminder of this and again could have been avoided if suspect received proper treatments for his mental illness. Funding is an issue when it comes to mental health services and this needs to be addressed
