We the members of The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and like minded non-affiliated people, request the government of The United States of American to fund the construction of a museum dedicated to pasta, rum, and pirates. As Pastafarianism is the oldest and truest religion and the base that all later religions are built from, a truly christian nation such as the USA should pay homage to it's roots. This museum will be a beacon shining the light of knowledge, 1) showing how the FSM influenced all cultures to develop a noodle or noodle like food. 2) Showing how rum elevated the "New World" to the highest level of civilization such that even Europe was forced to acknowledge our superiority. 3) Teaching the truth that Pirates were not the blood thirsty cutthroats but peaceful explorer
