Water is an incredibly important and fickle resource for the United States. We need it to grow food in the west and it often destroys vast amounts of property during flood season in many areas of the country.
We propose a massive infrastructure system (not unlike the electrical grid) to pump water across the country as needed. This would serve as flood control and water supply. Additionally it would create a tremendous number of jobs throughout the nation.
