Recognizing that the NRA proposal to have armed security in every school is an unfortunate necessity given the ubiquity of firearms in America, while also recognizing the fiscal straits America is currently in, this petition calls for the revenue neutral funding of the NRA school security proposal via annual licensing fees on every firearm and an annual tax on NRA membership. The amount of each of these would be determined by the total cost for the security program.
