My proposal is for the US Department of the Interior to provide a grant that provides funding for the reclamation, restoration, & preservation of America's historic railroad equipment & railroad sites. This fund will help keep America's historic links to the past for future generations in a state that we can admire, wonder & imagine the days of the Iron Horse, Buffalo Bill & Sitting Bull & the birth of America as an industrial giant. Even though modern railroads are prospering, big chunks of America's transportation past are being lost each day due to no funds.
Don't allow our children & grandchildren to grow up with knowing steam locomotives & the world they built only in textbooks! Sign this petition today & save what we have left for America's future generations!
