Mankind has been the cause of the extinction of many different species, animals that are unable to defend themselves. Therefore, I call for a project greenlighting the genetic engineering of Pokémon. Higher-intelligence animals that can defend themselves against the superior weapons of humanity and will repopulate niches that are missing species that have gone extinct.
Additionally, no longer would brave men and women have to risk life and limb to serve and defend the country; Pokémon would also prove endlessly useful for military applications.
And what person with a heart and imagination wouldn't want to see an actual Pokémon roaming the wilderness?
I urge you to strongly consider the terms of this petition, members of the Obama administration. The possibilities are endless!
