Existing fossil fuel reserves are diminishing, and clean, renewable energy sources are the best option for American energy needs. To this end, I propose a new energy source based on two well-known facts; cats always land on their feet, and jellied bread always lands with the jelly side facing down. Therefore, if a piece of jellied bread is attached to a cat's back with the jelly side facing up, and then both are dropped, the cat will perpetually spin in the air as the cat's feet and bread fight for dominance. By attaching magnets to the cat and placing it in between a copper coil, electricity can be generated. This system offers power creation with no power input, and will eliminate U.S. dependence on foreign oil, as well as stopping environmental pollution.
