In the popular videogame series "NBA Jam", players, upon hitting three shots in a row, become "on fire." Their skills increase, they receive unlimited "turbo", and, most importantly, their shoes become red and glow brightly. Who among us wouldn't want the world to know that we just cracked a series of wonderful jokes, or got a promotion, or secured a first date with that long-held crush? President Obama, as an avid basketball fan, you should understand this.
