This petition, on behalf on Space Weather News, is made to force action on an issue of relevance to the economy, infrastructure, resources and population of the United States. A citizen science group (+270,000 'Suspicious0bservers') has come together to find a correlation between the sun and the largest earthquakes on the planet. After observation and documentation, the model was verified by The Ohio State University Statistical Consulting Service. Since that time, the largest earthquakes are matching the model with even greater accuracy.
