We need to fight an epidemic known as the Super Bug. The Super Bug is resistant to antibiotics and kills over 23,000 yearly. But in the coming years the Super Bug is expected to grow strong, Scraped Knees, Sore throats, will begin to result in death. In the year 2050 Super Bugs are expected to kill more people than Cancer does. We need to raise awareness and funds to fight this before its to late.
Yes, Congress did fund some money to help (In fiscal year 2016, Congress appropriated $160 million to the CDC) but when we have the chance to stop something so much more powerful than cancer shouldn't we be funding even more money than that?
