Fund study for online direct democracy where Americans vote directly on every issue without need for representation.

Created by J.D. on January 28, 2013

This petition is to study how America may shift towards a direct democracy wherein citizens vote on issues directly online without need for representation of elected officials. Research on issues could be made available wikipedia style and edited by nonpartisan committee. Arguments can be debated in a facebook style public forum. Voting security can be made using social security numbers and IP address. Our elected officials have proven that as a group, they are no more intelligent than the average population. In a direct democracy as opposed to a representative one, lobbyists lose their power, as they cannot bribe everyone.
