Fund an unbiased scientific study of the release of Methane gas from the thawing permafrost and publish findings

Climate change may or may not be caused by human activity, that discussion is pointless now. The permafrost is thawing in the arctic region and that is causing plant life buried and preserved during the last ice age to rapidly decay releasing millions of tons of methane into the atmosphere - this is a much worse green house gas than C02 and this release is going to significantly accelerate the greenhouse effect.
If we stopped producing greenhouse gasses worldwide today - it is already too late to prevent the thawing of the permafrost. We must fund the research in order to prepare the public. This must be non-partisan effort and the findings must be published without redaction. We need to know how this methane release impacts the forecast models. We cannot prepare if we don't know.
