Among all branches of military service in the United States of America, funerary rights for veterans, and all eligible individuals have been a historical staple in military history and heritage. Recently, due to lack of funding and an additional lack of personnel, the United States Air Force has decided to stop utilizing the 21 gun salute, and to cut Honor Guard detail teams from 7 members, to 3 members. The only process that would remain is the folding of the internment flag, as well as the playing of taps whether on bugle, or "hi definition CD". Countless men and women have given some, and some gave all to the USAF. Removing the 21 gun salute directly contradicts the Airman's Creed statements of " I am faithful to a proud heritage, a tradition of honor, and a legacy of valor."
