Funding for Herpes Simplex Virus

I’m starting to understand that there is limited funding for HSV and I stand in front of you today in urging you to increase HSV Research Funding.
For many people, the emotional impact of herpes can be more distressing than the physical symptoms. The government just so happens to be the second biggest contributor to herpes research.
We have doctors that are close to a cure, but is limited from funding. Bryan Cullen, Professor at Duke University, states “Given that pre-clinical trials are very expensive—probably >$1,000,000 would be required.”
We, the public decide which political party gets to spend our tax dollars.
