Funding for K-12 public schools.

I recently read a 2012 statistic on our education in the United States compared to other countries. We were the lowest in the world. My purposal is to increase funding for K-12 public school systems in our nation. This would be funding for updated class room environments i.e. new desks, chairs, school renovations. Also teachers salaries need to be increased. If this is under seperate school funding the Obama administration needs to create a new bill. "The nation's most sweeping education law — the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, better known as No Child Left Behind, is outmoded and broken."-Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education. Please consider this with the new year. I consider our young Americans education just as important as our national defense of this country.
