I respectfully propose the idea that we treat the coffins of fallen service dogs in the same fashion as that of our men and women who give their lives in service to their country.
While it may be a small detail, I feel that our service dogs should have their coffins draped with the American Flag as they serve their fellow man and country with the same pride, devotion and selfless service expressed by our veterans.
