"Ask not what what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." -John F. Kennedy
Our country has a hindering sense of patriotism or moreover an increasing gap between patriotism and arrogance. We need to remind the people of America that they have rights only to ensure opportunities throughout their lives, and they should not be taken advantage of.
What is being asked here is simple; a higher recognition of unifying our country under democracy. Not under partisanship. Not under economic relief. But with the fundamental principles we only seem to notice during times of World Wars.
"We are corrupting our own economy by asking more and more from it."
The administration needs to address this furtherly in public announcements.
