I am going through the patent paperwork nightmare even though it has been revised in January. And ironically they make you read the paperwork reduction policy.
I have a Attorney Document number, an Application number, an EFS ID number (not sure why), an Authorization code, a Reference number, 6 or 7 recovery codes, and a Customer number. And I still cannot see my provisional application for a patent on the PAIR website. I am about to submit the CD/Diskette to get the Customer number and Application connected. What a joke. The original paperwork for my provisional patent was submitted 2 months ago.
CDs are rarely used anymore.
