Garnish federal workers' wages if said workers owe back taxes to the IRS.

Per the IRS, the number of federal workers and retirees who owed delinquent income taxes jumped by nearly 12 percent in 2011. In addition, per the IRS, nearly 312,000 federal workers and retirees owed more than $3.5 billion in back taxes as of September 30, 2011 and , the year before, about 279,000 workers and retirees owed $3.4 billion.

If a government employee is unable to pay taxes on their wages, they should be (a) fired or (b) have their wages garnished to pay the back taxes owed.
