Some metrics include:
1. Events in which a firearm was brandished but not discharged.
2. Non-suicidal Events (NSE) in which a firearm was discharged but no person was injured.
3. NSE in which a firearm was discharged, at least one person was injured, but no one died.
4. NSE in which a firearm was discharged and only one person died.
5. NSE in which a firearm was discharged and more than one person died.
6. NSE in which a firearm was accidentally discharged and no one was injured.
7. NSE in which a firearm was accidentally discharged, at least one person was injured, but no one died.
8. NSE in which a firearm was accidentally discharged and at least one person died.
9. Attempted and failed suicide events that involved a firearm.
10. Suicide events that involved a firearm.
