How can one explain the impacts of Star Trek, the vision that Gene Roddenberry, had on our lives, technology, politics and future. And it was also in part by those who would take on those roles (Lenard Nimoy and all the rest) to expand on a that vision. A vision of unity! An end to divisiveness. A vision that we are all one, we are all the same, we all have the same rights, regardless of anything (such a lengthy list).
Both of these men have had a tremendous and enormous impact to our society and world. 50 years! 50 years of a group of people who came together and made us think. Made us think of our country, society, the world we live in but also beyond the far reaches of our stars.
