This petition concerns the gridlock about the fiscal cliff. The congressional members don't seem tuned to the economic condition of American citizens. During the presidential campaign the Republican leaders talked a lot of creating jobs and improving the national economy. After the recent election, the status quo of the congressional stand has returned. There is very little talk or inclination to have a meaningful conversation about solving the fiscal problems.
We send leaders to the congress to serve the public, not to swear by their party ideology. American public would really like to see bipartisan efforts emerge in the next few weeks so the country can move forward.
