Get the DEA to deschedule/reschedule marijuana from a schedule 1 drug.

Created by D.D. on April 25, 2016

As of April 25, 2016 the DEA has marijuana classified as a schedule 1 drug stating that it has extreme high risk of abuse and no medical affects. We the people need to stand up and get the DEA to deschedule/reschedule it to a less harsh category because by saying marijuana, which causes 0 deaths a year, is a schedule 1 drug is saying its as dangerous as heroin, which caused upwards of 10000 deaths in 2014. Having it as schedule 1 is also saying that it is more dangerous than cocaine, methamphetamine, and ketamine. Having the DEA reschedule or deschedule it could open the doors for many more scientific studies and open the doors for a legal marijuana business, which is estimated to be a $6.7 billion by the end of 2016. This would also provide medication in the form of medicinal marijuana.
