In December 2013 the FDA stepped in and prohibited the health results of genetic testing done by 23andMe.com to be seen by its users, the owners of the DNA. Why is the FDA telling us what we can and can not know about ourselves? We paid for the information, we should be able to view it. The company only has one page of explanation on the web site, but leads the users to conclude we will not be receiving/viewing the information. Why is the food and drug administration concerned with information neither food nor drug related? Please allow users access to our genetic health results.
