In 2011 the United States began construction on a High Speed Rail System that is intended to connect all major cities throughout the United States. All of the states included in the proposed plan accepted, and were thus given funds to begin construction on the rail system. There were only three states that refused the proposal: Wisconsin, Florida, and Ohio.
All other states have already begun work on this monumental project that will not only make traveling the U.S. much more accessible, but as well provide hundreds of jobs, increase tourism, and further boost the economy. Without the rail system running through Ohio, we will be denied the benefits that could come from this economical project, and miss the chance for Ohio to become an even better state than it is now!
