Mrs. Sangeeta Richards is as much human as anyone else in USA. She was shortchanged by her employer, a Indian Govt official with limited diplomatic immunity who brought her from India on a A-3 Visa. She lied in her online application that she would pay her maid $4000 or so and she also created another employment contract whereby she said that she would pay her maid $ 437. She tried to suppress the freedom of her maid by creating two contracts, one to fool the Visa issuing authority and another one to shortchange the maid. This is gross cheating of people who accept menial jobs due to lack of education and poverty. A powerful official can get away in a developing country, where there is no proper judicial system for human rights. This is USA, we stand by certain ideals of human rights.
