Hello Im asking that you sign this petition due to the way Texas and other states throw parents in jail or even prison for discipling children. The bible states if you spare the rod we spoil the child, but if you whip your child and it leaves marks from where you spank the child, then you will be locked up for Injury to a Child and you will have a Felony charge against your name. But if the police beat the kid with a night stick or shot them then nothing is done. But the way that the laws is expressed over television and all it makes it where kids feel that they have the upper hand. We need to get theses laws changed because kids need to learn right from wrong without Police or CPS getting involved. Sign the petition if you agree! You will have a mark if you get a whipping its not abuse
