No donating to a campaign! I propose that all public campaigns are paid for by public money! No one can donate. It would give each candidate a certain amount of money, that would shorten the election season and have much less outside influence.
Initially, more tax payer money would be needed, but then rather quickly "influential organations" won't be able to receive so much unnecessary money.
Money is power! Get it back in the people's hand!
