Create an ongoing Commission or Department to write incremental legislation to wean our lawmaking process off of money. It may require many small but reasonable changes over time to make it tolerable. Our lawmakers should serve the people, not themselves.
A good start would be campaign finance. The next might be to find a way to inform lawmakers without the use of highly prejudiced lobbyists.
