I have met my beautiful wife at a church dance in Mexico. We have started dating back in Oct.of 2007. I was so madly in love with her. I am an American citizen, and at the time I was studying in Mexico. I wanted to marry her, so I looked at the requirements of having her brought to live with me in the United States and it was absolutely baffling of what Americans have to do to legally get a loved one to the United States, and even more baffling on how long it took many others to bring their fiances or spouse to the US. I married her in Guadalajara with 100 guests that were family or friends. I filled out the application and sent it in last April. I haven't heard a word from anyone. I cry each night because I see so many happy couples who have each other and I not my wife.
