This country started with a very visible separation of church and state. Today politician seem to have to prove their religious devotion (specifically Christian). I am concerned when Bush can opening state that his foreign policy is based off of what he feels god wants, or when there is even a debate over if Christian “science” should be taught in our PUBLIC schools. “If we have learned anything from human history it is that we have never gotten anywhere by labeling our ignorance as god”. Why are we allowing that ignorance back into our government?
