I just wanted to get a point across. An assault rifle is a rifled weapon that can fire automatically, not semi-automatically. The Ruger 10/22 and Smith and Wesson MP15 both can fire .22 rounds. Which makes them no different from any other gun. So what is the point of banning them? It's not like criminals now will obey these laws. They already break a lot so why give them more to break? Passing gun laws will only lead to more murders in the USA. Look at Chicago for example. They have the strictest gun laws and they are the country's highest murder count city.
