The local consensus seems to be that most people absolutely abhor the biannual time changes that we make for daylight savings time. Once upon a time it was useful and necessary. Probably. However, in the 21st century, we can identify no benefit to throwing off the clock twice a year in order to justify continuing this tradition.
We call on Washington to explain why steps have not been taken to open this issue for debate or start an endeavor to end this terribly inconvenient system of changing the clocks in spring and autumn.
