As of 2015, the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) is being given to students throughout the country as a standardized test. Many students refuse to take it, and those who do are negatively impacted, whether through stress-related mental issues or other problems. As a student, about 90% of my fellow classmates do not like this test or the insufficient preparation given for it, and many have suffered from stress-related problems right before the testing period. We petition the Obama Administration to get rid of the PARCC and fix or remove standardized testing in school.
