Common Core is not working as effectively as the government thinks that it should be. It's focusing more on testing and grades instead of the students learning. Its all about the scores, they make students out to be numbers instead of the individuals they are. Teachers are not teaching anymore, they are just making students more focused on the grade they need to pass. This focus has the students mind on a grade rather than learning information. To sign this petition means to focus on the learning and teaching again and not make everything about a percentage.
