Get rid of Daylight Savings Time (DST).

Created by C.G. on October 14, 2015

We as a society no longer need Daylight Savings Time (DST). Originally it was created to allow the time that most people were out working to coincide with the majority of the hours that there was daylight, thus helping farmers and those who worked primarily outside to be more productive. With current technologies that is no longer the case. Eliminating DST would save time, resources, money, etc. by not having to remember to change clocks forward and back thus eliminating people potentially being late/early for work/activities, also by not having manufacturers making electronics with those additional features. Eliminating DST would result in reduced expenditures across the board for labor, materials, etc. in many business sectors along with saving people time and hassle.
